Very pleasant experience We were looking for a home cooked meal after 3 days of camping with family. The food was great the only complaints I had was the soup was to hot and I don,t like corn bread. The service was pleasant and timely we never felt rushed. definitely one to remember. more

The family style pan fried chicken dinner is really what this restaurant is known for. The sides and soup that come with the dinner are OK. This may have been a good place at some point but not now! Worst meal ever! If you like bad cafeteria food, this might be your place. Burnt chicken, soup was all cornstarch- no exageration! Gravy was same as soup- no difference, horrbile bisquits, cornbread. Instant mashed potatoes and canned veggies with no flavor. Couldn't eat any of it. What... more

After 2 weeks of vacation, a "home cooked" meal sounded good so we headed over for the Sunday chicken dinner. Restaurant appears homey and a bit old fashioned. Comfy and relaxed. If you like fried chicken family style this is the place! Good bar and free appetizers while you wait. Make a reservation and ask about their nightly special. The soup course is very good. more
