I really can't say enough about El Mexicali Restaurant. It is a bit off the beaten path in Indio by the railroad tracks, but well worth the trek. The food is authentic mexican cuisine. People travel near and far to visit this little family run Mexican place by the train tracks. The food is fabulous and is very busy at lunchtime.
