Decided to stop by the Hard Rock during our trip to La Jolla. Knowing full well that it was a tourist trap, I didn't have high expectations. During the lunch hour, the place was practically empty. Even so, service was slow. There have some cool memorabilia, so the long wait for your order is consumed with gawking at the walls.... more

Arrived at the hard rock on sunday at around 2.30pm, hungry after a 4 hour drive. The place was about 30% full so thought we would get our food pretty quickly. Decided to sit inside and began to study the menu. Waitress came and asked for our drinks order. Ordered a beer each asnd decided on our food. 30 minutes... more

Great food, very cheap and wonderful rock music. Has many Beach Boys items and Beatles stuff. My faves are the HRC burger and the nachos,both are the best I have tasted anywhere. I have been to many Hard Rock Cafes, but this one is special. more
