This restaurant cannot even be accurately described in words...you must go! The dining room overlooks the cove, the wine list is superb, the food is absolutely amazing (get the Wagyu beef, it's worth it!). I keep going back here and I am impressed every time. more

My wife and I dined here on Saturday July 26th and I would say that we had a fantastic dinner. First off we had an excellent booth seat to catch the sunset. I will never dine here again. The view was spectacular, yes, but the food was not. I had the halibut, and in my opinion, Azul fails at the whole Spanish influence-fusion thing they're attempting to do. Cilantro Peanut Pesto mixed with Japanese sweet potato salad?! C'mon! more

We came in for a martini and an appetizer. The martinis were okay--nothing too amazing. But the goat cheese fondue appetizer was incredible. It is served warm with several crisp toasts--just wonderfu! I am almost ready to jump in the car and drive all the way to La Jolla just to have some more. We also ordered a mango apple... more

Amazing ocean view. A good bargain in expensive La Jolla with its $17 per person lunch buffet. Very good pot roast. more
