My husband, daughter, and I went to La Finestra for the first time for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was a great choice. Finally! We had dinner at Finestra on our anniversary and was not disappointed at all. The mushroom soup was different and very good. Delicious pastas and the lamb was yummy (and HUGE!). Charming restaurant with wonderful fresh dishes. Beautiful italian background music with excellent service. Certainly our favorite in Lafayette. Their foccacia (freshly baked) with a balsamic vinegar dip is exquisite Highly recommend this wonderful dining experience. more

I have eaten in great restaurants in SF, NY, DC, London etc. I was incredibly pleased when I found La Finestra about one year ago. Great food, friendly atmosphere. If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you, however if you want a leisurely, warm dining experience you are at the right place. more
