Other reviewers are correct, in stating that they had problems when the party was big. I didnt think our party was that big, but we had six people. Meatloaf took forever to serve. We waited forty five minutes between appetizers for "signature" dish meatloaf. Somehow our meatloaf was awful. Maybe a bad batch, but it had zero flavor at all.... more

One of the finest dining experiences we have had in the Long Beach area. The best clam chowder I have ever had, east coast or west coast; outstanding short ribs and prime rib; and so on through the menu. Family owned and operated and always the most attentive servers and staff we have encountered. A must go. more
We have been to Lasher's numerous times for brunch, dinner and with groups. Ray and Lynn are very accommodating from 2 persons to large groups. I lived in Long Beach for years and continue to spend a lot of time there, and whenever I can, I like to go to Lasher's. It sits in a 1920's Craftsman bungalow and has a charming patio on the side. Inside, there is a working fireplace and a cozy feel. The whole place reminds me slightly of New Orleans.... more
