We did not expect much from this restaurant considering it is on the Queen Mary and a bit of a touristy thing to do. After reading some positive reviews and the fact that Sir Winston's has received numerous awards, we gave it a try with open minds. Obviously the setting inside the restaurant and views of Long Beach are very... more

I have eaten at Sir Winstons three or four times now. Every time has been a treat. Having grown up in a fairly wealthy family, I am accustom to fine dining, so I am not some sort of rube, nor am I a high maintenance brat. My wife, friends andI have been impressed with the service at Sir Winston's. I... more

The restaurant is beautiful, but on the 4th of July our view was of loud bands with the members not wearing enough clothing. With alcohol and tip, our bill was close to $400 for two. When I called to book, no one called me back for two days. When I called back, they finally took my reservation with a credit... more

Ate there approximately 1 year ago after being told that it was a 5-star restaurant. I ordered the lobster bisque with such a strong liqueur taste that I couldn't finish the bowl. My partner ordered french onion soup and was terribly overpowered by the oregano thickly floating about. The main course was pretty good, but we wanted to order chocolate... more

My boyfriend and I went here, as recommended by a coworker to celebrate our 2-year anniversary. The dining room itself was beautiful, as were the plates and silverware. Our waiter came to our table right away to ask us about ordering off the wine list. Shortly after he came back with our champagne, he took our food orders. He was... more

I have lived across the bay from the Queen Mary for years and had never stayed on the ship. I decided on some "me" time and stayed 4 nights (See review). Two of those nights, I went to Sir Winstons. Here are my experiences. Night one: I didnt have a reservation, as recommended by the management, though I had asked... more

The food is excellent but unfortunately the ambiance is hit and miss. If you are there on a night that the room below is hired for a wedding expect your dinner to be ruined by loud music, The $30 dollar average referenced must be a joke as it is more in the $100 range on the few times I've been.... more

My Fiancee and I went here for a nice romantic dinner as we stayed the night on the Queen Mary. She had always wanted to try it out, and heck I did too. We had reservations at 7 and was seated promptly. I noticed that despite the fact that there was a dress code many entered wearing t-shirts and jeans,... more

Sir Winston's is ideal for a romantic evening. The warm wood of the interior coupled with the beautiful Long Beach skyline make for a beautiful evening. The food is excellent and so is the service. Between your appetizer and main course they serve a lovely sorbet. We've had dinner there 3 or 4 times and never had a bad meal... more
