I thought the Omikase style restaurant was good not great. It was also very expensive for what you get. I don't mind paying for sushi, but this was a little out of balance. more

There is no doubt in my mind that this is the ultimate sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. Sorry, but Sushi Nozawa is no where close to Sasabune. more

For the freshest fish on the Westside visit Sasabune on Wilshire. The dining room is nothing fancy, but the sushi (omakase only) never fails to impress. Runs about $70 for one with one drink, tip and tax. A treat. more

One of the, if not the best sushi joints on the Westside. They used to be on Sawtelle but now have expanded and moved to the old Todai location on Wilshire. The chef special still surprises you with amazing sushi. more
