Love this place and we drive just to come here ! Right on the PCH it doesn't look like much which is probably a plus or you might wait a very long time... seating inside and on a patio out back. Small, hole in the wall, dive - all adjectives that jump to mind when you see this place. I have been driving by it for years and never gave it a thought till recently. The food was wonderful!! Our concierge recommended Cholada to us, sssso glad we went. The food is authentic and wonderful, price very reasonable for Malibu. Service speedy and courteous. The place is very basic but obviously people far and near come for the food and willing to wait in line even if the table is wobbly. more
Dont know why its called Cholada but the golden bags and curry is bomb. more
