It doesn't look much from the outside but go in because the food is great. We both had the tuna which was cooked perfectly, one of the best pieces ever. The wine list is good and the service very friendly. We would certainly go back. more

It didn't look like much from outside but we were glad we went in. I had the hot pot and my husband had the cioppino. Both were amazing. The prices are reasonable, the wine list great and the food is fantastic. I would definitely eat here again if I returned to Mendocino. more

Very down to earth place, no pretense just good food. This place was packed with folks waiting both times. We walked around looking for a place for dinner in Mendocino. We were on our way to the Music Festival, needed a quick dinner and was delighted at the Mendo Cafe's service, wonderful wine menu and ultimately, the food.
