My wife and I used to go to this restaurant once a week, sometimes twice, so we have a ton of experience with it. The service here has completely collapsed. It's a disaster. We won't go any more. Left Bank is a local favorite for the wrong reason - snob appeal. The food is good but overpriced even for Menlo Park (a very expensive area so all the restaurants are expensive.) They overcrowd the dining room, it's always too loud to have a conversation inside. The service is perfunctory and sometimes poor. more
