First, I think the name of this restaurant is just Brix. Had dinner outside on the patio. The view of the garden and vineyards was excellent and so was the service. The food was very good. Group of seven with a 12mo old child. We were seated inside, but they have outside seating and with the sunset - its spectacular. Cool couples sofas facing the windows too. The place looks new, clean and well maintained. The food was very well prepared. Maybe not sophisticated but definitely plain, good and freshly made. Great for lunch. especially on a sunny day. more

I have to be honest... we had wanted to go to French Laundry. That being said, Brix served one of the finest meals I have ever had! Decent food, nothing to really complain about. However, nothing to rave about either, and if you are dinning in the Napa Valley, you should be able to rave about your dinning experience! Service was a little slow but not horrible; menu was very "vanilla” in it’s offerings for Napa. Simply put, many better places in the Napa Valley to dine. more
