I go to Kitayama about once per month. I typically take customers. Today I had visitors from Japan. Once again, Kitayama provided excellent service, beautifully prepared food at a very reasonable price. Recommendations? Daytime try their daily special. Nighttime, you must try their Shabu Shabu. My visitors were VERY impressed. more
You will love Kitayama, if you are not familiar with the genuine Japanese food. As a proof, local natives swarm this place, especially during the lunch hour. The lunch specials seem to be of good value. Watch out that they season the chirashi sushi rice with soy sauce! Ugh, that really make you throw up. But, the local natives love... more
A Horrible Experience. These people there and especially managment are apparently ANTI-American, RUDE, ARGUMENTATIVE AND GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT THEY MAY SPIKE YOUR FOOD WITH. it is too quiet in this place and communication with the workers was bad. food portion is small and expensive. it is located in an area that is not suppose to be. more
I rate the food at 3, but the enviornment brings it up a notch. Definitly more of a dating place then eating. more
i took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we walked away extremely satisfied.
