The most relaxing place to have brunch, and watch the yachts go by. The patio dining is to die for. The menu is amazing. The lobster bisque is literally to die for. "Monte Carlo? The French Riviera..no...I was in Newport Beach at the Balboa Bay Club for lunch! This local get-away resort is sublime, distinguished, and elegant. We had a window seat over-looking the docked yachts on the Marina--I couldn't help but imagine myself atop a boat, sunbathing in a bikini out to sea! This was one of the best restuarants we ate in during our saty in Socal. We were staying at the hotel and ate in the First Cabin one night. The food was very good, the wine delicious (and well recommended) and the service great. It is expensive, but that`s to be expected! The only problem was the lack of atmosphere... more
