Last time I was there at the downtown location (last week) we were a party of 10 and everyone loved it! If for you good Mexican food is becoming harder to find, give Anita's a try. I mean it when I say everytime I travel to the Oceanside area, I will eat at Anita's. more
Nothing special here, wouldn't spend money there again. more
You will love this place, the margaritas are great, food is like home-made, the prices are adequate, good service, you are not eating in a chain-restaurant but a family owned restaurant, those that don't exist anymore, and you'll be supporting local business.... you'll have a nice experience...salud!! more

Our family visits Oceanside every summer, but this is the first year we have tried Anita's. We ate at both locations (more than once!) during our recent two week Oceanside stay. Needless to say, we love both locations. The food is delicious, and the service is courteous and efficient. In addition, the prices are reasonable. The margaritas are great, too.... more
We enjoy the traditional look and atmosphere of this restaurant. We also like the fact that it is owned by a family and not really a chain (even though there are a couple of locations). They usually close at 9pm, so make sure you are seated by 8:30--we have been turned away when we arrive after that. There is currently... more
