I have been in the restaurant business for 45 years. I own a fine dining establishment and am very critical. I was very impressed with Le Vallauris. The food, the service and the ambiance were outstanding. I loved that they were adventurous with the menu. I have never seen fois gras ravioli before and they were superb. Everyone from the... more

Ambiance, amazing food put out by Chef Extraordianre Jean Paul, superb service by Maitre 'd Patrice and phonomenal service and follow up by the Dapper dressed gentlemen owners, Paul and Omar who make sure every detail is perfect. Have eaten here with family and Hollywood Satrs alike and all agree it is THE BEST! more

I dined in this restaurant on Sat. June 13, 2009 to participate in the Palm Springs restaurant week 36.00 pre-fix menu, it was bad. My previous experience having dined at this restaurant before is that the food was exceptional, however on the pre-fix menu they have none of their regular menu items on this menu. They created a very inexpensive... more

I waited for years to finally arrange a lunch to celebrate my birthday here. What a disappointment! I felt bad for the person taking me out and for the restaurant. The atmosphere seemed stuffy and musty, and the waiter was pretentious and obnoxious. He practically yelled at me that the chef would take "no responsibility" for a salad I attempted... more

Le Vallauris is a blast from the past! I felt like I was walking into a Hollywood set of "desert wealthy fine dining', circa 2009. A lovely, handsome man with a French accent (real or not, that is the question?) greets and seats you, waving your napkin onto your lap with compliments and talk. We were seated on the absolutely... more

I attended a large group event at Le Vallauris. I had eaten there twice before and was not let down by the food, even served for our 100 person banquet. Everyone at our table with pleased with their selections. The service was a little spotty, especially at the end, when the waiter served coffee to half of our table and... more

Expensive and worth it. There is not a bad choice on the menu and the service is flawless. However - the wine list is expensive to the point that I felt that I was being taken advantage of. $60 for a $15 bottle of wine and that was the cheapest option more

We recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Le Vallauris in Palm Springs. Le Vallauris is a Palm Springs fixture since the early 1970's. We were seated in the garden patio which is a beautiful setting. Lunch was excellent. Eating at Le Vallauris is like going back in time. The Maitre d', a distinguished looking gentlemen and the owner... more
