We have for years now enjoyed the cozy Rose Tree Cottage in Pasadena. Each trip there brought back memories of the years spent in the UK. We love the attentive service offered by Edmund and Mary. An warm and friendly oasis for tea drinkers amongst a world of coffee. We had read about Rose Tree Cottage and had to make a stop to see what it was all about. We were made to feel welcome and comfortable and plied with tea and real milk along with the best freshly made scones. A highly pleasant experience. more

I have been to tea at a number of places in the LA area, but Rose Tree Cottage is by far the best. Not only is the homemade food (scones and clotted cream and jams, oh my!) to die for, but the atmosphere is so overwhelmingly British that I felt transported back to England. We had a pleasant afternoon at Rose Tree Cottage. I almost cancelled our reservation after reading some of the reviews but we went anyway and I'm so glad we did.
