Server was excellent, and our table's order - a mix of seafood and steaks - was bountiful and flavorful. A small clean-up problem in the kitchen gave us a strong whiff of ammonia for a few minutes, but everything else was first-rate. The decor is either classic or out-dated -- I'm not sure which. more
This is a restaurant that has certainly stood the test of time. I remember first eating here as a child back in the 1950's! This is my all-time favorite restaurant. The ambiance is great. The steaks are above average, but the rest of the meal is beyond compare. The bread with cheese spread, salad (with any of the dressings), and the baked potatoes are to absolutely die for. more
Best cheesey Bread on EARTH! I also love the Cheese Butter for my baked potato. Sooooo much cheesy goodness Mmmmm! more
Crazy time warp in Pico Rivera. The cheesiest cheese bread, big big big baked potatoes, onion rings, 3 different kinds of homemade salad dressing and atmosphere a go go. Points off for limited choices for us non meat eaters and the somewhat pricey menu. Otherwise, it's carb city. more
