Yummy food, close to beach, reasonable price, clean everything there was good except for the very rude hostess that was seating people. I've never had anyone call my name over the loud speaker twice and did not hear it, especially since I was standing right in front of the restaurant the whole time. Not every restaurant can be GREAT everytime.......except this one! I have eaten at Brad's four times and have ordered something different evertime....save the cup of clam chowder that is a staple! Food was good and a nice area of outdoor seating. It's not on the beach or with a nice view or anything, but it's nice to eat outside sometimes. The fish I had was good. more

I've had clam chowder all up and down the East Coast, Boston, Maine, Outer Banks....everywhere! Brads just consistently serves the BEST clam chowder anywhere. JUST the right amount of potatoes (not loaded), just the right consistency (not overly creamy or too watery), not too salty, and CLAMS!!! My mother and I wanted to eat downtown near the Pismo pier. There’s an inside area (coffee shop style) and a patio area. We decided on the patio (heat lamps too).
