Enjoyed the Sampler. The pork ribs were screamin... My daughter and I split the meal and still had plenty. The children in the group were content. Atmosphere was lively and the music playing (Blues) was right on. The place was busy, more and more people arriving for the evening meal. more
I live locally and some friends and I went there to grab some bbq. the girl at the counter was sooooo rude. She had a major attitude problem and was even arguing with an old man over something really petty when we came in. The doors were wide open and the sign was still on, but the walk way to... more
i visited this place based upon the TR reviews. very good bbq place in a beach community. good prices and the food is very filling. the tri tip was very good and this place is small, so it can be packed. but not as much as the splash cafe. i would recommend this to anyone. good job mo! more

During our recent stay in Pismo Beach, we tried Mo's for a change for the local seafood faire. I had a tri-tip sandwich which was excellent. Tried the combo full slab ribs which is a full slab with some of each type of Mo's ribs and sauces. Sadly, they all tasted the same. The ribs appeared and tasted like boiled pork with little... more
I'm curious whether the last reviewer complained, because she certainly should have. I don't like salt and NEVER add it to any dish, not even french fries. I've enjoyed Mo's pulled pork sandwiches many times and have never experienced what she describes. Every time the sandwich has been wonderfully delicious, with an exquisite balance of lean pork cooked to savory... more
Sorry, I wanted to like it. It smelled wonderful. I often eat and make BBQ as well. So I was pulled in by the signs of "Best BBQ in town" etc...But my pulled pork sandwich was so oversalted I couldnt even finish half of it. Even my kids and husband thought so. The coleslaw was fresh and crunchy though, which... more
