It's 1956 at Hap's, and sometimes that's a refreshing change. It's a very old-fashioned place with red plush decorations, a piano bar and tuxedoed waiters who speak to you in a whisper. You'd never know what it was from outside, though--their old-fashioned neon sign makes it look like it might be an old-west style saloon. more

Hap's is supposed to be a high end steak house, unfortunately it is only high end in their HIGH PRICES. Sadly the quality of FOOD & SERVICE is a LOW END 2-3 star.. Hap's in Pleasanton has been around for a long long time. Situated right in the middle of town, it has a longstanding reputation for great dining. The menu has a decent variety of food selections.
