Went there based on reviews. The service was excellent and the restaurant is nicely appointed. We had blueberry pancakes, french toast and an omelet. We all agreed that we've had better for less money. A little pricey. Would not go back again. more
Just like the one in Monterey, but without the outdoor dining and a more old timey feel. Reliably good and with good sized portions. For the pancake adventurers the raspberry coconut granola pancakes are fun, but consider asking for chocolate chip and bacon, fun to share one with a group. more
This is still my favorite breakfast/lunch place. It has been ever since it opened. more

i have been going to first awakenings since i was a kid, and it has always been an excellent dining experience. their pancakes are to die for, and the sonoran fritatta is amazing. The staff are always helpful and friendly, the price is reasonable, and the overall experience is great! if you are in monterey you must come here for... more
