We had dinner at Mo's on a Wednesday night. Party of 7. Food came out inconsistently as 5 of us got our food inside of 8 minutes but the rest of us got our food 7 minutes after that. You order your food and grab your seats. There is a drink station where you can have your heart's desire of... more
Excellent food and value. We're so glad that we ate here in our recent vacation in San Luis Obispo. more
Best ribs I have ever tasted. Ribs are medium to large in size and the meat falls right off the bones. Interior is laid back, with wooden tables and walls covered in awards for BBQ contests that they have won. Order at the counter, have a seat at a table (seat yourself) and prepare to lick your fingers. They serve... more
The barbeque was nothing special but not bad. I guess if you eat at BB-Q restaurant with no actual smoker or BB-Q on site you run the risk of experiencing some mediocre food. Ate last weekend at Mo's...we asked some people and were told it was the best. So decided to give it a try.....It started with 5 people in line to order and took us 45 minutes to get up to the person to take our order, not good when your hungry! We ordered and found a seat..OK, we are hoping things... more

Our girls loved the ribs, pulled pork and cole slaw.... more
I ate at the SLO location. It's kind of a hole-in-the-wall (though in the middle of the best part of downtown), not very impressive looking, and it was pretty messy in the dining area. You order at a counter and they bring the food out to you. The top of my table was sticky like the floor of a movie... more
We ate at Mo's in San Luis Obispo. We were staying at the San Luis Creek Lodge (great by the way) and it took about20 minutes to walk there. But worth every penny. I had the stripped pork sandwich and the wife had the stripped chicken sandwich. That and a few sides and a couple of pints of beer came... more
