This is a gorgeous location and the inn itself is very nice. However, the food and service were only average (but friendly). You may want to visit this in the late afternoon for coffee and dessert. You still get to enjoy the view and walk the grounds but you can save your wallet. more

We stopped here for a quick lunch on our way to Big Sur area. We ate outside. My husband and I split a turkey sandwich, 1 order rings, 1 small soup and 2 cokes....bill was $20 and the sandwich was as dry as can be. While on a trip to Cambria, we had lunch at the Ragged Point Inn. The site was beautiful, and the one table of diners around us seemed to be enjoying their meal, but we could not get the attention of the server. We had delicious dinner tonight. We shared the vegetarian ravioli and the salmon. The vegeterian ravioli was quality pesto sauce, with home-made vegetable inside..not strong pesto which is how I like it... worth it.
