Heard a lot that this was the best Italian restaurant in Santa Barbara so went there for a special date. We ended up here because nearby Bouchon was full and this place rapidly filled up: the moral of this is that if you want to eat at a popular restaurant in SB it is necessary to book in advance at least at weekends. We had an excellent dinner here on Saturday night. We have eaten at Olio e Limone many times on our trips to Santa Barbara and are happy to report it's as good as ever! What a difference an Italian makes in the kitchen. There is alot of pride coming out of that kitchen and it shows up on the plates. more

Great Italian! Small, so make reservations. We had reservations, but still had to wait a few minutes. The staff was very apologetic for our wait and gave us dessert on the house. The food was perfect! more
