Very disappointing, considering the great reviews here and on other sites. Wait staff were incredibly rude. Usually the service in Michelin 2 star restaurants is flawless, this was inconsistent and cold. Sommelier obviously out of his depth, unprofessional. Food was poorly seasoned, some oversalted. We chose Melisse based on Trip Advisor's review and were not disappointed. It is pricey, but the food was great and the service could hardly have been better. Just enjoyed a memorable dinner at Melisse after not having been there for a number of years. The room is elegant and sophistocated. You can have a conversation at your table without the intrusion of ambient room noise. The service is refined and the meal superb. Yes, it was very expensive. more
