On Saturday night, we headed to MUSHA for T’s birthday get-together. Westsiders have been telling me about this place for years. The staff was great and the food was fabulous. Went here twice during my stay in Santa Monica. They have a very very interesting selection of tapas-style japanese dishes and I would totally recommend this for the adventurous foodie. It is only open for dinner and gets very busy so you have to put your name in for a wait that can be up to 40 minutes long. If... more

My favorite place in Santa Monica to take out of town guest looking for a unique culinary experience. Great food, fun atmosphere and the service is fantastic. If you have a large party, they have a cozy private room where you remove shoes and sit traditional style. very fun more

One of my most favorite Japanese restaurants in city. Very authentic. Nice selection of sake. Portion is small, but enough for me. Must reserve for weekend. more

Must have - Isame Tomen, MFC (Musha Fried Chicken), and Risotto. Always a wait during the dinner hour, but they take your name and cell phone so you can walk the promenade nearby. Great atmosphere and always a good crowd. more
