We met up with some acquaintances for an after-recital dinner. Since we were 9, the staff had set aside a large table for us. However, they did not want to provide separate checks. This is always a recipe for disaster when eating out at a not inexpensive restaurant with people you don't know well. Anyways, I had the salmon special.... more

When we saw the sign that said Checkers we thought of hamburger but this is actually a very nice place. Our party of four each ordered a different salad for dinner and each one was delicious. Add a nice glass of wine and it was the perfect meal on a warm summer night. more
