Beautiful location. Our waitress was a bit snobby to say the least. We dined outside, the food is tapas style, small plates. I ordered the chicken breast with a demi glaze which was a bit strong for my tastes. French fries were small cut over salted, and the hangar steak was a very small portion. The food is good...nothing fancy at all..good taste though. The service was VERY VERY slow and attention to detail was lacking. (example: they had taken my cutlery with my salad and didn't bring back any for the meal...had to go and find some ourselves). If you are not in a rush - then go....the food is worth the money. more

the"new" Stella's which recently re-opened in its new location at russian river winery (the old Topolos) has clearly lost its luster. from rural elegance it has deteriorated to wobbly tabled funk. the setting is nice enough with a rustic cabana feel and the waitstaff is eager and inexperienced. one generic wine glass for all varietals, when i order a 50.00... more

We went here upon the recommendation of our guide at Paul Hobbs. We had trouble finding the place, but it was worth finding. We ordered a plate of truffle fries as an appetizer and after one bite, immediately dubbed them "crack" fries ... WOW! They were completely addicting! We immediately ordered a second round. Incredible find! Along the Gravenstein Highway route to Sebastopol, a small, cafe in a house in the country. The food is brilliant, fresh and perfectly prepared...whether you love the crispy frites, the veggie sandwich, the prawn salad...something incredible for everyone. Lovely to sit outside in nice weather and fun to sit inside, either in the room where the open kitchen... more
