YUM! This is one of my favorite restaurants despite being 45 min - 1 hour from our home in Marin. Any time we're headed towards Sabastapol we make a point of eating here or getting take out from here. They have some of the most delicious, fresh curries I've had. Sauces are delicious; very nice curries, fish Tikka Masala(often Salmon), Chicken Tikka really good. Variety of fresh naan. Hot chai, brown rice option, vegetarian dishes too. lately, one of the servers has been inattentive, but usually great service. One large round table for parties. My guests have never ever been disappointed and always ask to return next time too. more

The Himalyan Tandoori and Curry house recently opened in the former location of the Vientiane Thai Lao restaurant. At the recent Grand Opening celebration, the staff served a FREE buffet dinner to people lucky enough to know about it! We got to sample chicken and vegetable curries, fresh naan breads, soup, salad, and even a deliciously spiced rice pudding (kheer).... more
