Fell in love with this little place while we were there camping in the area. After a trip to the lake, some real, non-campfire coffee sounded yummy and we popped into the Gear and Grind Cafe on a whim...sure glad we did. A cozy little spot with comfy couches, wifi hookup, super-friendly employees and THE yummiest coffee and smoothie drinks... more

We will definitely keep this on our "must visit" list for the Tahoe City area! Cozy atmosphere, AMAZING Red Star organic coffee (had an Almond Rocha Mocha! Mmm!) and ice cream! Very friendly owners! We went twice on a 3 day visit to the area! http://www.gearandgrindcafe.com/ more
