The Dam Cafe, near the Y in Tahoe City, has wonderful made-to-order sandwiches. They made us terrific BLTs with avocado on sourdough - yum - to take on our bike trip along the Truckee River. The people here are so nice and friendly - can't imagine a better place to pick up something for a picnic .Oh, and the note... more
