The staff at this place is GREAT, very helpful and friendly. I've enjoyed several dishes on their happy hour menu and have not been disappointed.
Visiting Los Angeles and went to the Del Amo shopping center in Torrance. On my way out I saw the Lazy Dog Cafe. I was on my own and just walked in and sat in the bar. Really great, quick service. The drinks were made really well and quickly. The menu was full of healthy food and even had a... More
Like so many other places The Lazy Dog is big, airy, with a wide selection to appeal to a lot of tastes with some surprising items not on other menus. I had a classic burger with cole slaw rather than fries. The burger was just a burger, nothing out of the ordinary, but the slaw was really great. My wife... More
I was not aware that this restaurant allowed dogs on their patio. Nice that tgey appear dog friendly, not sure if there is a size limit. Food was ok, I had buffalobchicken sandwich, it was ok, but I probably would not order it again. My family ordered burgers and really liked them.
We went to the Lazy Dog in Torrance to celebrate our granddaughter's 8th birthday (along with her 2 sisters and 2 year old brother. The place was jammed, but they told us about the wait, gave a pager and when we were called the table was properly set (for adults and kids, with crayons), the waitress immediately took drink orders... We met some family there and had a reservation for 10. They arrived before us and were seated. We didn't know and when we arrived we told them we were with that party. They seated us elsewhere...thirty minutes later they called looking for us and we were all shocked that we had been sitting feet away all that time on... More
Nothing remarkable about the food, one way of the other. Went there twice over a two-week period as the place is in walking distance to my hotel, nice long menu, good wine list (I drink nothing fancy) and not crowded on a week night at 6-6:30 pm. You might want to try the meat loaf if you're looking for comfort... More
This place is a little different. I left there still not quite sure what kind of food they serve--kind of a hodge podge of everything (from burgers to fish tacos to pasta?). We ordered the flatbread parmesan as an appetizer, which is great hot, but starts to be not-so-great as it cools (which is almost immediately). Imagine a fried mozzarella... More
Located in the outdoor add-on to the Del Amo mall, it's a great place to eat before or after a movie, or as a break from shopping. Interesting menu, great drinks, good service, not overpriced for what you get. If given a choice, I always go here when I'm in the area.
We discovered this great little place on the last day of our stay in Torrance and wished we'd found it on day 1! It was busy and noisy in the bar area as there was a football game on but we were seated immediately at a table on the side. The vast menu all sounded delicious but I eventually settled... More
