Great Restaurant! This place is the last of its kind on Interstate 80. We stop there every time we drive by and its always good. The service and the food is above average. To bad there isn't more restaurants like this one! more
I have just finished a 7-year around the world odyssey and have sampled Monte Crisco sandwiches in hundreds of restaurants and street stands in scores of countries. The sandwich offered at the Black Oak Restaurant in Northern Californian is by far the finest in the world. It is totally tasty and beautifully presented. Every year in January we travel from Atlanta to San Francisco to see our Aunt Margaret. She always wants to visit Cache Creek while we are there. Along the drive we need to stop and have breakfast. Three years ago we discovered Black Oak Restaurant. Now it's a ritual. We'll be back this Saturday (Jan 10th) for our fourth visit.... more
The location is perfect - my father and I stop here on the way to Cache Creek. It is not too far out of the way. Service is great, don't have to wait too long til you get your food. The food is ok...could be a little less greasy. They do give you quite a portion. I would rate this... more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Northern California. Very fast and friendly service. Never need to wait, it has many tables. more
We have found this to be a great meeting place to enjoy a breakfast with friends. The food has always been very good and the service always above average. Always try to stop here when on a road trip. more
