Yes, the food is good and well presented, but the entire experience in only memorable with respect to the depletion of you bank account! And, what's with the wine list? For someone who really appreciates wine and orders a bottle with nearly every restaurant meal, I can't find a good bottle on their list for less than $80 and most... more

My fiance and I are major foodies, and have been to gourmet restaurants all over the world. Of all the wonderful places, Frascas takes the cake for best experience! The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is genuinely relaxed AND elegant. Ask the servers what their favorite dishes are, and let that be your guide if you're having a hard... more

Friends of ours had their wedding reception at Frasca. We had a 5 course degustation with matching wines. The food was to die for - fresh local produce turned into exquisite dishes paired with some great European wines. It's hard to pick a favourite but the two pasta dishes we had were the highlights - the pasts we were told... more

My husband and I had dinner there for our anniversary. As a vegetarian, I found the waitress very helpful in helping me choose dishes and the kitchen willing to make adjustments. The "frico caldo" appetizer - fried potatoes with cheese - were so good. My husband and I both loved all our food and the wine pairings were perfect. more

We have dined at Frasca twice now (it's our special treat when we come down from the mountains) and each time it goes down as the most memorable dining experience of our lives. The food is out of this world, the service impeccable and the atmosphere perfection. Anyone in Boulder should try this restaurant. It's worth every penny. more

I had with some local friends a local dinner celebrating my birthday and this was my second dinner at the Frasca restaurant . So the first time it was not so impressed so I gave myself a new try before to review the Frasca restaurant. First of all , the location of the restaurant is really nice as the restaurant... more

Second visit to this extremely overrated restaurant. The second visit at the behest of friends who love it and insisted we give it a second try. We started with the Salumi which consists of 2-3 slices of proscuito and breadsticks, hardly innovative. Main course consisted of sliced pork loin which was glorified deli ham in an otherwise decent sauce. The... more

The food and service are excellent. Their four course dinner at $66 provides just the right amount of food. The food is very well prepared and the presentation is excellent. The only thing that keeps me from giving this an excellent rating across the board is the atmosphere. The tables are very close together so there is little privacy and... more

My family dined at Frasca last week for my graduation celebration. They were serving a pre-fixe, 4-course menu for $80/person. We used to live in Boulder and, based on past reviews and awards, we were expecting a gourmet dining experience. What we got instead was an overpriced, mediocre dining experience. The service was good, a little over earnest, but good.... more

Frasca Food & Wine is by far the best restaurant in Boulder. As of November, 2008, the price of a four course dinner (antipasti, primi, secondi, and dessert) was $62 per person. Before all of this, however, try the coleslaw as a starter. It sounds strange, but it went perfectly with our Kir Royales, and is always absolutely delicious. The... more
