Our party of four thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Blue River Bistro. We each ordered something different and the quality of each entree was very good. The creme brulee was also a nice choice. Apparently the last 2 weeks in Breckenridge is called "mud season", most restaurants are closed. But we came across Blue River Bistro with buy on get one free dinners! Wow, great food, good service, pleasant atmosphere. I'd eat here again and they serve tofu! more

this place pretends its fine dining (i.e. wine list, reservations recommended) but its just a loud, noisy sports bar with crowds of people doing shots and spilling beer surrounding our table, a few games on in the background, and the smell of wet ski boots lingering in the air. I read a few reviews and have to agree with some of the negatives. For the price, one should get a polished (or at least clean) wine glass. Food & lipstick on all of the ones us 4 got.
