Really good food, but the service is dead slow. The burger is great, and I've heard the chicken is the best (never had it). The salads are pretty bad- stick with the soup as it's always good and homemade. Fun place for families, neat building, too. more

As everyone else has said, the chicken is very good - moist and not greasy. The potatoes and gravy were good too. Castle Cafe serves crispy, old-fashioned, pan-fried chicken. I was going to say like grandma used to make but most grandmas don't know how to cook like this anymore. The meals are served family-style with real mashed potatoes, homemade cream gravy, and vegetables. The Parker rolls are also home-baked. Try the coleslaw. more
