Slogar is very overrated. Do not go expecting a choice between steak and chicken, unless you want to spend $15 extra for the steak. The sides are great (except watered down gravy), but the chicken is ordinary, fried and under seasoned. Deff recommend Somewhere else for the money (try Timberline or Maxwells). more

most amazing mashed potatos and corn the chicken had a good texture could have used more flavor though but i thought the service was exelent and we didnt have reservations but the wait wasnt that bad so altogether a great place to eat more

Fried chicken was acceptable but underseasoned. Mashed potatoes and gravy were watered down! Canned corn and some miniscule biscuits. What a load of hype. more
