I was so excited to try this place, I'm always looking for vegetarian options, but we were really disappointed. The service was absolutely awful and the food was bland. This place is missing a lot of opportunities to be really great. I'm a vegetarian not a vegan and I felt like I had to apologize for wanting cheese on our... more

This restaurant has mastered the art of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free foods...so much so that I took 3 big time meat lovers (boyfriend, dad and friend) to dinner there and they all loved it! They also have great sulfite free wine! more

I had looked forward to taking my vegetarian sister to Watercourse in Denver for some time - like a year - and I can hardly think when we have been so disappointed and distressed. It was awful. We arrived at the end of lunch hour, around 1:30 on a Friday, the place was bustling but only 3 names were on... more

I think the praise heaped upon WaterCourse made them stop trying to excel in service and food quality. I went during a slow time of the day at the end of July 2009 and had trouble getting service after finally being served with food. I ordered an Atlas sandwich with quinoa cold salad and cubed sweet potatoes. It was pleasant... more

Best Vegan Banana Bread French Toast EVER! I go back for them every time and have NEVER bothered to try anything else. I have been told by everyone I take there that the Breakfast Burrito is the way to go. They serve eggs too. Totally a must have if you like banana bread and french toast but want to be... more

I'm a vegetarian and I'm always looking for a new vegetarian place to eat. I've heard a lot about this place and decided to give it a try. I was dissapointed. The food was tasteless. I can get better tasting vegetarian meal at any regular restaurant. Even salads were not good! I went there twice, just to make sure it... more

Let me start by saying the menu and food are truly excellent. My problem was the waitress, by her own admission completely her fault, spilled ranch dressing all over me, my shirt, and my jacket. She asked if there was anything she could do and I suggested she replace my shirt with one of the Watercourse T-shirts. She came back... more

I discovered this place on a well done restaurant list put together by Denver locals hosting our conference. It is in the trendy Uptown area of town where there are lots of great places to eat, shops, some art theaters, cafes, and gay bars. Watercourse is really fantastic. I visited first for an afternoon tea and got the most amazing... more

I have like Watercourse in the past but each visit the service seems to deteriorate . . . . My last visit was last night - waiting excessively long to be acknowledged, asking for water and waiting forever . . . and then to pay the check: an impossible task. Maybe the wait staff need some training. The food: pasta... more

Amazing, delicious food for vegans and non-vegans, and they even have gluten free options! Homestyle traditional meals like chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes are transformed into vegetarian delights, while light and healthy meals like amazing salads and stir fries are also delicious. I have never been disappointed with my meal, and have sampled most of the menu. They also have... more
