I've been eating everything on Denver Magazine's top 100 must eats list and I thought Rioja's Beignets were the BEST on the whole list! Absolutely delicious. I've got a picture of it up on the blog jko http://www.musteatdenver.com/?p=662 more

The top rating of this Denver restaurant is well deserved. It is rare that a restaurant consistently brings together great food, great service, and great ambience. Our experience at Rioja this evening was certainly a testament to great dining. Each of our dinners was elegantly presented and offered an unusual and delightful combination of textures and flavors. Our waiter suggest... more

This was our 1st time to Rioja, but I know it won't be our last. We had brunch there on Sunday and it was to die for. I had the Crab Crepes and my husband had the benedict. Outstanding meal. Very fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and they have outdoor dining as well. The dinner menu... more

Dinner at Rioja is one of those experiences where the vib and the food make for a great evening. The menu can be complex so go with an open mind. It is an excellent choice for those who prefer a sophisticated dinning experience in a a relaxed atmosphere. Skip the highend steak chains and head here or to one of... more

My husband and I stopped in Rioja while enjoying a weekend in the city. We didn't know a whole lot about the restaurant, so I didn't have any expectations. Being someone who is rarely impressed, I was blown away. Everything was very yummy.....pine nut cheesecake, beet salad, brussel sprout salad, scallops, prawns and pork belly, artichoke tortilleni and the fig... more

I had dinner here with three companions. The halibut was fabulous. The paella was dreadful. The scallops and calamari were very good. Service is informed but slow. It is relatively noisy. Servings were small, but adequate. more

The staff at Hotel Teatro recommended this restaurant to us. We went inside only to find that without reservations they could not seat us. We told the hostess we were disappointed, however we completely understood. We left and halfway down the street here comes the hostess who caught up with us and said she just had a cancellation and she... more

I had never been to Denver before and this restruant came highly recommened - the service was great and there was good atmosphere - trendy and modern but not pretentious. The goat-cheese bread that they bring around is fan-tastic! more

Took refuge on a cold evening and had drinks in this lovely and comfortable spot while gazing outside at the poor valet lad as he donned more jackets. He needs a heater! Also had dinner ( for 4). Wait staff was very attentive and witty and we enjoyed the parade of specialty breads. It was a good thing, too, as... more
