This is a wonderful place to eat. The service is exemplary every time. The atmosphere is warm, fun, cozy and relaxing. Their salad bar is to die for and the entrees are equally as good. If you are ever in Durango you should not miss a visit to the Red Snapper restuarant, 144 East 9th Street, just off the main drag. The restaurant has a cosy and intimate atmosphere and combines a high standard of food with being family friendly. We have been to the Red Snapper several times, most recently in May 2008. It's always good with excellent service. Probably has the best, albeit small, salad bar in Durango. I highly recommend this restaurant. It's not cheap, but the value is consistent with the pricing. more

WOW!! What a phenomenal restaurant! The service was spectacular and the food...Best in DURANGO!!! We really enjoyed the atmosphere with the large fish tank and aquarium. Our table was located next to the open kitchen - which gave us great pleasure to watch the chef(s) as they prepared our dinners. Our server was very busy although she was more attentive... more

We are locals to durango for more than 8 years . We found the restaurant through some other locals, and it has become our favorite place to eat. The chowder reminds me of Seattle and the salad bar is great. the food is consistant and the service attentive. recommended to all. more
