We had a terrible experience here on June 26th, 2009. After an hour wait we were seated and ordered our meals. Five people - ordered two combos and three pizzas and one escargot appetizer. We heard this restaurant was a "Locals Choice" so we gave it a whirl. Very nice location, attractive decor etc., and the food was great. Service was prompt, way too prompt in fact. The service here was exceptional, and the fresh bread and wine were both fantastic. This might sound strange but my main dish was almost too Italian, I ordered lasagna and it didn't have any sauce on it. Spaghetti also came with the lasagna. more

We have eaten several times at Italian Underground. It is a "must-do" when we are in Glenwood. It didn't disappoint. We had their signature drink, the Italian sour, which was really good, salads, bread and pizza. Everything was perfect. more
