When Spice opened in 2000 or so, it was great. they had the best sesame chicken and wonton soup in boulder county. these days it seems that their quality continues to slip, and their prices continue to rise. i would say that siamese plate (next door) is a better, fresher bet for good asian food. more

Very consistent restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a bit higher end than the average Chinese restaurant - but still reasonable. Has a very extensive menu with a Shanghai specialty section. The spicy food is way too hot. But the Shanghai style food is generally pretty good. Try either of the whole fish. more

I had a fantastic steak there, and the regular faire is great, but for the best experience, get in on the Chinese new year fun, and bring someone that can order without the menu! A whole new level of Chinese Cuisine. more

Like it! Be careful of what you order though! Spicy foods are way too hot! FIRE! But try whole fish--good. Shanghai style dishes are good too although not completely authentic. But nice dining experience. more

...if you order Scallops and Brocolli, because I've ordered this twice (foolish me), and the meal only came with TWO scallops... and even those were cut in half, so it was really like getting ONE scallop! The atmosphere is OK, but if you want better food, go to Ting's Place in Lafayette! Much, much better food. more
