Jorge's burrito is the best I have eaten any where in the world and it is huge. I travel internationally and spend at least three weeks per year in Mexico. My wife and I live in the Denver area, but spend at least 7 or 8 weekends a year camped at Pueblo Lake in our RV. Our first evening meal... more

I am in no way an expert when it comes to Mexican food. Apart from eating Mexican food at resorts during my vacations to southern beaches in Mexico and the Caribbean, I seldom eat at a Mexican restaurant (perhaps this is due to the fact that in my region of Canada there are few Mexican restaurants). While on work assignment... more

You never know what you are going to get at Jorge's. The food is usually pretty good, but the service keeps getting worse! It also bothers me that you can never get them to participate in the community. I struggle to support a local place that isn't willing to give back, especially with all of the success Jorge's has had. more

I am a Pueblo native and currently live in Denver. There are no restaurants in Denver that compare to Jorge's. Everytime I go to Pueblo to visit my parents there is never any discussion on where we are going for dinner--its Jorge's everytime!!! Be careful when drinking their Margarita's--they will hit you without you realizing it until you try to... more

A previous reviewer wrote this restaurant wasn't worth the drive. I beg to differ! Everytime I fly into Colorado Springs I drive down to Pueblo for a meal at Jorge's. This quaint restaurant in an older neighborhood in Pueblo offers delicious food and fabulous Margarita's. This is no tex mex folks, its the real deal. As for the grafitti outside... more

We tried to go to El Nopal (down the street) on a Sunday, when it was closed, and ended up here. Staff were friendly but it was a bit slow, with people waiting even when there were tables empty. The food was good, included seafood and other items not found on more basic menus. I had the shrimp tacos, which... more

My family ate here on the recommendation of other Trip Advisor patrons, and we seemed to have a wildly different experience. Starting off, the place is in an area of town covered in gang graffiti. We should have known then to turn around. When we walked in, Obama paraphernalia was scattered all over the restaurant. Apparently the President visited the... more

My husband I have frequented Jorge's over the last year and I must admit, the ambiance is great. It's always busy, the decor is pleasant, and the food is tasty even though I think their flour tortillas taste store bought. My husband protests, so I may be the only person who thinks they are chewy. Their plain margaritas on ice... more

I am a Pueblo native living in Iowa. As soon as I get back to town, we head to Jorge's. My favorite: cheese enchiladas with green chile. Yumm. Get half and half chile--it's part hot, part mild. The margaritas are also excellent. I have never had spotty service nor iffy food. And the neighborhood is just fine--no worries. more
