My family visits Il Poggio Restaurant regularly while in town and we couldn't be happier with our experiences. We had a very good dinner at Il Poggio, but the absolute standout of the meal was the sweet potato and goat cheese ravioli, which were scrumptious! The service was excellent and, overall, I would recommend this restaurant, but the prices are high and everything is a la carte. In addition to the raviolis, the freshly baked bread was delicious. more

Food really wasn't that good. The service was ok. The prices were average, but I'm always frustrated when restaurants charge extra to split a dish. The atmosphere is nice. It's comfortable, and it's a good place to sit and enjoy a few glasses of wine. more

This is the very first review I am placing on TripAdvisor. But people should be warned about this number one rated restaurant in Snowmass. Il Poggio restaurant has two dining areas: the cafe area in the front and the main dining room in the back. One being more simplistic and the other more sophisticated.
