The food and atmosphere were amazing. The restaurant had a price fixe menu, so it was also a very good value. A very good dining experience. more
What a great little restaurant. This place has what I'm looking for - cozy, charming ambience, friendly staff and GREAT FOOD! The service was professional but not stuffy. Our waiter helped us pair some delicious wines by the glass with our varied food. We did alot of sharing and everthing I tasted was fantastic. Can't wait to go back :^) more
Bread was great! After that meal went down hill, ending witht he worst lemon cheesecake I've ever had. It most resembled a dried up, over-cooked, crumble cake. The only thing lemony about it was the name. I don't recommend the resturaunt. It is over-priced and food is not very good. more

Stumbled upon La Marmotte while visiting. Great wine list, great food and service. Loved the duck dish and the Creamy French onion soup. more

While our waiter wasn't bad, he lacked personality and added nothing to make our experience better. Our appetizers were bland and between four of us, the only entree... more
We ate at La Marmotte on a Monday night, when the restaurant was full but not overcrowded. As other reviewers have noted, the menu is a $35, three-course prix fixe, with some menu items carrying a price "supplement." Although my appetizer (a tomato and mozzarella salad) and my dessert (trio of homemade sherbets) were excellent, my coq au vin entree... more
I have been living in Telluride for about three years now and have continually come back to La Marmotte when dining out in Telluride. I have tried Cosmos, The Bluepoint, Excelsior, and the Chop House. La Marmotte, while expensive (what isn't expensive in Telluride as far as fine dining goes?), truly delivers fine and well-balanced dishes. A lot of the... more
