We are semi-locals to WP (have vacation house) and have been going to base camp (now Rise and shine bakery) for years. ). I have been here multiable times to give this place a chance, and the verdict is they cant get it right! the owner is very very rude to his employees and he tries to make it seem like he has the best and only talks about how bad everyone else is! IM A CUSTOMER I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT!... more
I've been skiing at winter park for close to a decade with friends and family and this winter discovered Base Camp for the first time. To me it seems like a place in Winter Park where one can have a good breakfast and enjoy some really nice baked goods without having to deal with the rest of the tourist crowds.... more
