The ribs down to the the rice and beans was absolutely great, and the dim lighted restaurant leaves a soft romantic touch with rhythm and blues music as well as great workers and wonderful drinks. A must go eat restaurant. AAAAAA++++++ more
Went primarily to see a band. We made dinner reservations that guaranteed us a table near the stage all night. My wife enjoyed her meal, but I found the food tasteless. more
I dined there some years ago (about 3) and I was really not impressed with the food. We never went back! I hope that it has improved since then... more
Good atmosphere and service...but the food wasnt good at all-- My boyfriend had the blackened catfish which was decent yet flavorless-- I ordered the NY Strip yet wasnt able to eat more than 4 bites because the most expensive entree on the menu had so much fat on it that it was completly inedible. The server was friendly and took... more
Horrible food! The fried fish was undercooked and had to be sent back. It was just not good. more

The only reason I give this place any stars is because of the live music. In fact I think a better BBQ place is the Cookhouse Cafe in East Hartford. Sally's BBQ is an inferior product, but they do have a following. more
Good b-b-q!! Great place for downtown Hfd. They usually have live music on the weekends which is fun. more
