Upon a recommendation from our innkeeper, we found this very small, cute breakfast establishment. Our breakfasts were AMAZING. Generous cups of very hot coffee. Specials and items from the menu utilizing local ingredients (lobster benedict was incredible). We already can't wait to go back! more

the mystic melt was SOOOOOOOOOOO good. Scrambled eggs with cream cheese and crab. I almost couldn't finish it, but somehow forced myself out of fear my husband would steal a bite. Served with raisin toast. I haven't had that since I was a teenager. Such a cool place. The locals were having a very loud active conversation. I LOVED it. more

I love Number 11... However, there's lots of wonderful things on the menu as well as the four specials (including a wonderful pancake special that brings raves). Flo or Jimmy are the head folks here. Stayed in Mystic last week in August. Had breakfast here 3 times. Excellent. Don't know how others can say breakfast is ordinary. Where else can you get 4 kinds of eggs benedict (and starting at 6:30 a.m.) cooked to perfection (regular, lobster, tomato and avocado, Portugese). The Hollandaise is freshly made. Wow, this place packs in the customers and flavors! (I heard that it is only 400 sq. ft.) The restaurant is painted dark blue on the outside, and inside has a nice "sea and beach" theme going on with cool colors. They offer a ton of unusual, weird, and different breakfast dishes.
