The original ovens and location for Pepe's Pizza. Can't get better pizza anywhere, and this is a fun place full of local color. If you're adventurous try the clam pie, no sauce. In general you'll need to order mozzarella cheese if you want it on the pizza. more
What more can be said? The sausage isn't quite as good as you'll get from Zuppardi's in West Haven but otherwise this is the best. The ORIGINAL home of Frank Pepe. No talk of the Franchising in manchester or fairfield here. Gary is the best waiter in any location by far and the pies taste ten times better here than the larger place next door. Sadly the franchisers are closing the spot most weeknights. In taste, its basically the same as Pepe's, the line is shorter and its just next door. However, its doesn't have the same feel as the original, so if you are willing to wait, do it. more
